With new patents filed, the long-rumored Enterprise Edition of Google Glass has finally been revealed.
The first version of Google Glass was targeted at consumers, but this one is designed for use at work. It's got a larger eyepiece prism, 5GHz wi-fi and a new, faster Intel Atom processor. It also has a hinge, making it easy to fit in a pocket.
The Enterprise Edition is waterproof, sturdier and reportedly offers extended battery life with an extra battery pack that attaches magnetically.
It's not likely this version will be available in any form to consumers. It's reportedly been distributed for testing to hundreds of partners in Google's 'Glass for Work' program.
Google has not officially acknowledged the new device's existence, but the photos and patents were recently filed with the FCC.
